4th of July in Kentucky

8/21/2009

Missionary Renewal ended on the 2nd of July and we headed out on the 3rd to kentucky for missions services there on the 5th of July. The great thing about that was my (Debbie) sister and her family live in Kentucky and we got to celebrate Independance Day with them and my parents, who flew out there, so we could all be together! We also celebrated Elliott's 10th birthday, which is also on the 4th of July.

It was so nice to be celebrating our country's independance in America this year and even more special to be with family! This picture is of Elliott enjoying cotten candy in Kentucky!

On Sunday, the 5th, we were at Christ's Chapel Assemblies of God for missions services. My sister and her family attend there and the church has faithfully supported our ministry in Botswana. It was our first time at the church and we enjoyed meeting the Pastor's and their families and having lunch with them after service. We love meeting with out partners in ministry and having the chance to thank them in person, for their support of our family and ministry to Botswana.
